VG Rasputin Museum

The V.G. Rasputin Museum is situated in a house moved from Kachug District to Irkutsk in 1880. It is a regional monument. Here there is an assortment of awards, photos, documents, manuscripts and books by the writer. The first exhibition opened on March 15, 2017. Visitors can see personal belongings of Valentin Rasputin and items from his everyday life including furniture from his office. The museum serves as a center for preserving and studying the writer's work.
