130th Quarter

Complex of Quarter 130 is situated in the southern part of Irkutsk's historical center, at the foot of Krestova Hill. It is a specially created area of historical construction, restored according to archival drawings and measurements. In 2010, the project won the international architectural festival "Zodchestvo". The buildings of the quarter represent an historical environment that has become a symbol of Irkutsk. Previously, the quarter was called Irkutskaya Sloboda.
