State Mineralogical Museum named after A.V. Sidorov

The State Mineralogical Museum named after A.V. Sidorov is situated in Irkutsk on Lermontov Street, 83E. Its collection comprises over 27 thousand minerals, rocks and ores. After losing significant exhibits during the war, the museum was restored and continues to fulfill its educational mission for geology students. Here, the deposits of Siberia are studied. It was founded based on the mineralogy department of an educational institution.
