Heroes Alley in Chetvertogo Aprilya Square, Orenburg, is part of the memorial complex "Pride and Glory of Orenburg". In 2014, the Bank of Russia issued a silver coin dedicated to this building.

Zauralskaya Grove is situated on the left bank of the Ural River in Orenburg. It features poplars, flowering cherries, birches, cassias and silvery willows. Following reconstruction new paths, pavilions, relaxation areas and additional lighting were introduced. Its total area amounts to approximately 313 hectares. A children's road and sports field have been installed. Viewing the grove from the river constitutes a valuable historical cityscape.

The former Orlovsky ordonans-gauz building is located at Sovetskaya Street, 3 in Orenburg. Here, on June 1847, Taras Shevchenko spent one night during his stay in Orsk fortress. Later, in 1883, Nikolay Chernyshevsky visited it as well. Since 1862 after the fortress was dissolved, the building was used for various institutions including a crafts school and a hotel for soldiers during the Soviet period.

The Taras Shevchenko Memorial Museum-Guardhouse is located in Orenburg on Soviet Street, 24. It was opened in 1989 to commemorate the poet's anniversary. Husainiya Mosque in Orenburg is situated at Kirova Street, 3. The building was constructed in 1892 upon initiative and funding of Tatar merchant Ahmed-bey Husainov. Architectural design was presumably prepared by D.P. Korin. Nearby there was Husainiya Medrese where famous personalities such as Bashkir poet Sheikhzada Babich and cultural figures from Kazakhstan were educated. Religious education resumed here in 1989 after an extended hiatus.

The first museum opened in 1971 to mark Yuri Gagarin's ten-year anniversary flight. Visitors will see authentic household items from the Gorachevs family, including a quilt and curtains embroidered by Valentina Gagarina. A separate room highlights Yuri Gagarin's stay in Orenburg. The exhibit includes a mid-20th century communal kitchen and two rooms with memorial interior design.

The Museum of Cosmonautics in Orenburg is located at Chelyuskintsev Street, 17. Founded in 1961, it originally was called the museum of aviation school's history and military glory. There are three exhibition halls; separate materials focus on Yuri Gagarin, an alumnus of the local school. In front of the building there are MiG-15bis aircraft linked to his training and a memorial for pilots-Heroes of the Soviet Union. The building is an architectural monument from the late 19th century.

River Ural Embankment

The Embankment of the Ural River in Orenburg is part of the city's historical center. Here there remains historic Soviet Street's architecture, approaching the embankment from the high bank side. In 1900 a wooden grating on a stone foundation was installed. After recent heavy rain damage occurred to the stone wall and wooden grating. The embankment connects with Pushkinsky Boulevard and A.S. Pushkin's monument, as well as provides access to Zauralnaya Grove via a reliable bridge over the Ural. There is also a statue dedicated to Valery Chkalov.
Nikol'sky Cathedral

Nikolsky Cathedral in Orenburg is situated on Chkalova Street. It is the city's main Orthodox church with a traditional dome composition dedicated to Saint Nikolay the Wonderworker. Operated as an important religious center with regular services, the cathedral has a Sunday school since 1999. Inside the church there is a new iconostasis in late Empire style consecrated in 1959; originally it was a single-naved chapel.

Obelisk "Europe - Asia" is situated on the left bank of the River Ural in Orenburg. It is the first monument in Russia marking the boundary between Europe and Asia. Made as a square column about 15 meters high, it features a stainless steel sphere on top. Designed by architect Gennadiy Naumumyn and installed in 1981, this obelisk is prominently visible from the highway leading to the city and has cultural-symbolic significance.

Orenburg Regional Universal Scientific Library named after N.K. Krupskaya is located at 20 Sovetskaya St., Orenburg city. Founded in 1888, it is the oldest library in the region. Its collections include over 30 thousand publications in about hundred foreign languages, as well as a rare editions sector with an archive of approximately 13 thousand documents. There is a literary museum prototype housed in the former merchant V.'s mansion; before the revolution, the library was situated in the building of the city council. In February 1936, it was named after N.K. Krupskaya.

Silich with artist Yu. Yakovlev. Since 2007, the head director has been Vadim Smirnov. The theatre also actively tours cities across Russia and creates shows for children and family audiences.

Fayzee, born in Orenburg province, is considered the founder of Tatar musical drama.

The Orenburg Musical Comedy Theatre is located at Tereshkova St., 13. Founded in 1935 on the basis of the Vinnitsa Musical Comedy Theatre. From 1938 to 1957 it was known as Chkalovsky Theatre. Famous performances were staged here, including "My Fair Lady" and "Silva". In 2005, the faculty of "Actor of Musical Theatre" opened within OGII named after Rostropovich. The theatre has special programs for schoolchildren and is famous for its performance of "Sevastopol Waltz" composed by K. Listov.
Alexander S. Pushkin Monument

The monument to Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin is situated on Pushkinsky Boulevard along Ural Embankment in Orenburg. It was unveiled in October 1982 and forms part of the literary memorial environment of the embankment. During his visit to Orenburg, the poet gathered materials for the novel "Kapitanskaya Dochka" ("Captain's Daughter") and the work "History of Pugachev". Here, Pushkin was accompanied by Vladimir Dahl, while the meeting with the poet was arranged by Governor Vasily Perovsky.

In Orenburg, at the intersection of Soviet Street and Krasnoznamennoy Street, there is a monument to A.S. Pushkin and V.I. Daly. Bronze figures of poets about two meters tall stand on a granite pedestal with an equal-sized Greek cross at its base. The inscription "Pushkin, Dal" decorates the three-part pedestal with granite steps. The place reminds of the former Pyotropavlovskaya church due to the cross on the pedestal. Granite was delivered from the Sverdlovsk region.

In Orenburg, on the bank of the Ural River, there stands a monument to Valery Chkalov. The sculpture was made in Moscow workshops of the Art Fund and depicts the pilot after an important flight. The monument is placed on a granite pedestal and can be seen from Soviet Street. The authors of the monument are sculptor Isaac Mendeleiev and architect V.S. Andreev. The monument is connected with the aviation history of the city and the flying school. Orenburg bore the name Chkalov from 1938 to 1957.

In the center of Leninsky Sqare in Orenburg rises a monument to Vladimir Illych Lenin created by sculptor V.V. Kozlov and architect M.V. Ryangin. The figure's height is 165 cm, depicting Lenin during a public speech. The memorial was made in workshops of Leningrad Art and Industry Technical School and is among the first monuments to Lenin worldwide. Initially funds for its creation were collected by city residents instead of financing hydroelectric station construction on Sakmar River.
War Children Monument

At Gusykov Park on Prospekt Pobedy, 114 there is a monument called "Children of War" made of bronze with an inscription "CHILDREN OF WAR" commemorating children who survived World War II from 1941 to 1945. The monument to orenburg residents-participants of World War I was installed in Vladyka Leonty's Square on Chkalova Street in Orenburg. Opened in 2014, its authors are artists E. Vargot, M. Vedernikov, D. Vargot, S. Brenev and Yu. Davydov. A granite stele six meters high made from karelian granite is featured. The composition's distinctive feature is a mosaic icon of St. George the Victorious. The monument recalls the mass dispatching of Orenburg residents to the front in 1914.
