Nikol'sky Cathedral

Nikolsky Cathedral in Orenburg is situated on Chkalova Street. It is the city's main Orthodox church with a traditional dome composition dedicated to Saint Nikolay the Wonderworker. Operated as an important religious center with regular services, the cathedral has a Sunday school since 1999. Inside the church there is a new iconostasis in late Empire style consecrated in 1959; originally it was a single-naved chapel.
