Orenburg State Tatar Drama Theatre named after M. Fayziyev

Orenburg State Tatar Drama Theatre named after M. Fayzee is located at Sovetskaya Street, 52. Founded over a hundred years ago and is an important center for developing Tatar theatrical culture. Plays by Tatar, Russian, western and eastern authors are performed there. The ensemble actively participates in regional cultural events including international festivals "Gostiny Dvor" and "Orenburg Arbuznik". Fayzee, born in Orenburg province, is considered the founder of Tatar musical drama.
