Memorial Complex for Fallen in Great Patriotic War

Memorial complex commemorating those who fell in World War II is located on Prospekt Pobedy in Orenburg. It includes an obelisk, alley, war veterans' brotherly graves and memorial "Orenburg - to the front", opened in 1995. On both sides of the monument there are plaques with names of deceased Orenburg residents, while next to the obelisk there is Eternal Flame. The complex is a regional cultural heritage site and honors the memory of soldiers who died in local hospitals.
