Church of Our Lady of Loreto

The Catholic church in Orenburg is dedicated to Our Lady of Loreto. Its foundation stone was laid in 1844, and construction continued for three years. In 1859, an organ was purchased for it from a master in Saratov, and in 1898, a parish charitable society was established at the church. After its closure in 1932, the building was transferred to a flight school, and later it was used as a production facility for the leather and footwear association "Ural". The restored church was reconsecrated by Archbishop Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz on November 23, 1997.
