Orenburg History Museum

The Orenburg History Museum is located at Naberezhnaya Street, 29 in the city of Orenburg. A building constructed in 1856 in the neo-gothic style, it originally served to store the provincial archive and treasury. Since 1983, it has been functioning as a museum showcasing the city's foundation, Pugachev Uprising, and its urban history. The museum also features memorial branches dedicated to the Gagarins and Taras Shevchenko. The building is an architectural monument and was included in the register of protected objects in 1987.
