War Children Monument

Orenburg, Prospekt Pobedy, 114, park imeni L. A. Gus'kova

At Gusykov Park on Prospekt Pobedy, 114 there is a monument called "Children of War" made of bronze with an inscription "CHILDREN OF WAR" commemorating children who survived World War II from 1941 to 1945. The composition was created by Orenburg's chief artist Natalya Brovko. The sculpture depicts a boy and a girl wearing hand-me-down clothes symbolizing the hardships of wartime. The opening took place on September 9th, 2013.
