Children of War Monument

The monument "To the Children of War" in Orenburg was solemnly opened on September 9, 2013, during the celebration of the city's 270th anniversary. The author of the bronze composition, installed on a granite pedestal, is the city's chief artist, Natalya Brovko. The sculpture depicts a brother and sister, sheltering from the cold in clothes that are too big for them, with a discarded toy lying nearby. A bronze plaque with the inscription "TO THE CHILDREN OF WAR" is placed on the pedestal.
