Orenburg Regional Universal Scientific Library Named after N. K. Krupskaya

Orenburg Regional Universal Scientific Library named after N.K. Krupskaya is located at 20 Sovetskaya St., Orenburg city. Founded in 1888, it is the oldest library in the region. Its collections include over 30 thousand publications in about hundred foreign languages, as well as a rare editions sector with an archive of approximately 13 thousand documents. There is a literary museum prototype housed in the former merchant V.'s mansion; before the revolution, the library was situated in the building of the city council. In February 1936, it was named after N.K. Krupskaya.
