Art-object "Happiness Is Not Far Away" is a creation by Perm-based artist Boris Matrosov made in 2005 specifically for the festival "Art-Pole." It has since become a calling card of Perm, recognized thanks to the inscription of large red letters installed in 2009 as part of the "Museum in the City" project. Its fame was further enhanced by appearances in popular television series and films.
Gribushin House

Gribushin House located at Perm, Lenin Street, 13A was built between 1895 and 1897 by architect A.B.Turchiev in baroque style with art nouveau elements. The mansion is mentioned in Boris Pasternak's work "Doctor Zhivago" under the name "house with figures". The building got its name from Sergey Mikhailovich Gribushin who acquired it in 1905.

Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre named after P.I. Tchaikovsky is the oldest regional musical theatre founded in 1870. It was here that the opera "Ivan Susanin" by Mikhail Glinka premiered, and the history of ballet began in 1926 with the performance of "Giselle". The theater is unique as it is the sole Russian venue where all ten operas and three ballets by Pyotr Tchaikovsky were presented. During World War II, it temporarily hosted the Leningrad Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Kirov.

The Perm Uspensky Female Monastery is located in Perm on Plehanova Street, 39/5. It was founded in 1873 with donations from merchants Fedor and Grigoriy Kamenskie. The monastery operated until 1920, then closed but reopened by decision of the Holy Synod in 1882 and finally restored in 1993. Currently, there are two functioning churches here: dedicated to the Kazan Icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary and to Apostle John the Theologian.
Sverdlov Park

Yakov M. Sverdlov Garden is located on Perm's Red Square and has a long history since 1865 when it was originally called "Angel's Garden" at the site of a closed copper smelting plant. Today it is known as Yakov M. Sverdlov Garden. It features the monument "Mourning Newfoundland," dedicated to canine handler Yanis Markods in 1995. In 1928, Vladimir Mayakovsky and his friends read poetry there. The garden's reconstruction was completed in 2010.

Sculpture composition "Permian — Salty Ears" is located at Komsomolsky prospect, 27 in Perm. The opening took place on April 1, 2006. The monument symbolizes traditional occupation of Permians — salt-making, which gave residents the nickname "salty ears". It consists of a figure of a photographer and a large circular frame with huge ears created by author Rustam Ismagilov.
