Legend of Perm Bear Sculpture

The sculpture "Legend of Perm Bear" is situated on Lenin Street near Urals Hotel. It is a bronze composition unveiled in 2009. The idea behind the monument is based on a local stereotype about bears freely wandering the streets of Ural. The work was created by Vladimir Pavlenko. Initially made from artificial stone, it was later transferred to bronze after installation.
