The Perm Puppet Theatre is situated at Sibirskaya Street, 65 in Perm. The building, previously serving as a prison, was converted for theatrical performances between 1957-1958. It began its history in 1937 as a small puppet group affiliated with Perm Philharmonic Society. Since 2000 it has been listed among cultural heritage sites of the Perm region. The theatre features Large and Small halls and is known for its early productions such as "Devil's Mill" and "Cucu's Wish". The architect of the prison project was Rudolf Karwovskii.
