Permian Antiquities Museum

The Perm Paleontology Museum in Perm is situated at Sibirskaya Street, 15. It features a permanent exhibition detailing the development of life on Earth over approximately 650 million years. Special emphasis is placed on the Permian period named after the Perm province. Visitors can view fossil remains of ancient creatures that lived about 270 million years ago, including fossils of marine animals and impressions of ancient plants and insects. A separate exhibit highlights Permian therapsids. Annual visitor numbers exceed 70,000 people.
