Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre named after P.I. Tchaikovsky

The Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre named after P.I. Tchaikovsky is situated at Pyotropavlovskaya St., 25A. The building is executed in the style of late Russian classicism. The ballet stage has a history since 1926, opera performances started from 1870. The theater was founded in 1939 following the fire of an old wooden structure built within a year. Previously, this venue hosted the evacuated Leningrad Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Kirov.
