Perm State Circus

Perm State Circus is located at Perm, Uralskaya St., 112. The first wooden circus building appeared here as early as 1905 but burned down during a fire in 1943. The current circus opened in 1970; its auditorium originally accommodated over 2200 people. Since then it has become a branch of "Rosgoscirc". Cirque performances, such as "At Seven o'Clock After the War" (1985), won awards at All-Union competitions. The architecture of the building was designed by architect Solomon Gelfer.
