Perm State Art Gallery

Perm State Art Gallery is situated on Komsomolsky Avenue in Perm. It houses collections of Russian painting, graphics, sculpture and decorative-applied arts from the 15th to 20th centuries. A special pride of the gallery is its collection of wooden sculptures from the Perm region created for local churches. The earliest sculpture dates back to the late 17th century. The collection was first presented to the public in 1924. Among collectors and researchers of this collection stand out N. Serebrennikov and A. Syropyatov.
