Дом-музей Н. Г. Славянова

The N.G. Slyanov House-Museum is situated in Perm on 1905 Year Street, 37. It honors mining engineer and inventor of metal electrode arc welding Nikolay Slyanov. The museum features a living room, the inventor's study and a workshop reconstructed according to his designs. The main exhibit is the unique "slyanovsky cup" made from various metals and recognized at the World Exhibition in Chicago. Here also showcased are applications of welding in diverse fields ranging from underwater construction to space technologies.
