Vladivostok cable car connects upper and lower stations located on Orlyanka hill. Cars depart simultaneously from both sides and separate in the middle of the route. The upper station is one of the most picturesque viewing points in Vladivostok. The construction dates back to 1962 when Nikita Khrushchev, after visiting the USA, decided to make Vladivostok resemble "Soviet San Francisco."

Vladivostok Fortress Museum

Vladivostok Fortress Historical and Fortification Museum is located on Batteries Street in Vladivostok. It is a major sea fort from the late 19th to early 20th century built between 1889 and 1918. A federal-level cultural heritage site within Arsenyev Museum-Reserve. Features include artillery batteries, casemates, powder magazines and underground structures, including famous Vorošilov Battery listed in Guinness World Records. Voroshilov Battery

Voroshilovskaya Battery - museum complex on Russky Island in Vladivostok, branch of the Pacific Fleet Historical Museum. It is a coastal tower No. 981 named after K.E. Voroshilov. The complex includes two towers connected by a long underground corridor about 250 meters deep. Here you can learn about the history of Vladivostok's defense and understand the significance of this important defensive position.

Pacific Fleet Drama Theatre

Pacific Fleet Drama Theatre, founded in 1932 in Vladivostok, is one of the oldest military theaters in the region. Located at 48 Light Street, it is known for regular performances of contemporary plays. The theater has a training stage for young actors' preparation.

Evangelisch-Lutheran Church of Saint Paul

The Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Paul is located in Vladivostok at Pushkinskaya Street, 14. The building was constructed between 1907 and 1909 and is the oldest church in the city, representing the style of North German Gothic. In 1997, the temple was transferred to the Lutheran community of the Far East and included by Germany in the list of monuments of German culture abroad. The church actively operates, holding regular services, with part of the restoration funded by Germany.

Golden Bridge

Golden Bridge in Vladivostok - suspension bridge across Golden Ring Bay, opened on August 11, 2012. Its height reaches 225 meters, main span length is 737 meters, width is 33.3 meters, total length is about 2.1 kilometers. The construction of the bridge was carried out ahead of the APEC summit.

Catholic Church of Our Lady

Catholic Church of Our Lady in Vladivostok is located at Volodarskogo Street, 22. In 1995, the first city organ was installed here, followed by the first organ concert on the Far East. The building is recognized as an architectural monument and transferred to the Catholic parish after 50 years. During the mid-1930s, the church was used by the archival bureau; however, it currently operates actively as an active Catholic parish.

The Shipyard Embankment is located in the very heart of Vladivostok and is one of the oldest recreation zones of the city. It was here that the history of Vladivostok began in the summer of 1860 when a military port was founded. The length of the coastal part is about 900 meters. On the embankment there are important landmarks: the submarine museum S-56, the ship museum "Red Pennant", St. Andrew's Church and Nikolayevsky Triumphal Gates. This place combines history and modern opportunities for walks and relaxation.

Museum Ship "Krasny Vымпел"

The museum ship "Red Pennant" is located on the Port Navy Embankment in Vladivostok and is a branch of the Pacific Fleet Historical Museum. The vessel was built in Saint Pyotrsburg at the beginning of the 20th century and became the first Soviet ship in the Pacific Ocean in 1923. During World War II, it guarded the country's maritime borders and participated in combat actions. Today, the ship is installed as a monument on the embankment and is accessible to tourists for visits.

Matrosky Square

Matroskiy Square in Vladivostok is located at ulitsa Svetlanskaya, 68. After reconstruction, monuments were restored here, lawns updated and a unified landscape-architectural space created together with neighboring buildings. The square is dedicated to the crew of schooner "Kreyserok", which sank while performing its task. Nearby are the Military-Historical Museum of the Pacific Fleet and the Sea Assembly. For visitors' convenience, an intelligent parking lot with artificial intelligence-based control system has been installed.

Tokarevsky Lighthouse

Tokarevsky Lighthouse is located at Tokarevsky Cape in Vladivostok and is one of the oldest lighthouses on the Far East. Its height is 11 meters, it is painted white and serves as an important navigation aid for ships passing through the Eastern Bosporus Strait. The lighthouse is known among locals and tourists as a symbolic end of the mainland and the beginning of the Pacific Ocean; its image often appears in photos taken by residents of Vladivostok. It is one of the most popular places for photo sessions in Vladivostok due to the picturesque view from the artificial sand spit "Tokarevskaya Katyusha."

Arsenyev Far East History Museum

V.K. Arsenyev Far East History Museum is located in Vladivostok at ulitsa Svetlanskaya, 20. Established in a rental house of Vasily Babintsev built from 1902 to 1905. The museum's collection includes over 400,000 exhibits: ancient coins, cold weapons, ceramics and artifacts of the indigenous peoples of Primorye. Educational programs and interactive events for children are organized for visitors. The museum has branches in different parts of Primorsky Krai including the family Sukhanovs' mansion and Vladimir Arsenyev's memorial mansion-museum.

The Pacific Fleet History Museum was founded in 1945 upon the initiative of Colonel B. Sushkov. Its collection is formed thanks to expeditions to Kamchatka, Commander Islands and Kuril Islands, as well as exhibits from the Russian Museum in Port Arthur. The museum is located in Matrosky Square on Light Street in Vladivostok. Its branches include submarine S-56 and the ship-museum "Red Pennant".

Sports Harbor Embankment

Sport Harbor Embankment in Vladivostok is a well-maintained pedestrian zone by the sea, established in the late 19th century as a place for fish trading. In the 1950s, a beach with health facilities and sports fields was developed here. Since 1862, the embankment has been an important part of the city's infrastructure. Its center features a light-and-music fountain built to celebrate the city’s anniversary. After the war, sporting facilities were added, including a rowing base and Dynamo Stadium.

The Monument to the Fighters for Soviet Power in the Far East is located in Vladivostok, on Revolution Combatants Square. It is the city's largest monument, created by sculptor Alexei Teneva with architects Usachev, Kozlov and Trautman. It was opened on April 29, 1961. The central figure of a fighter with a flag stands high on a pedestal facing the sea, symbolizing the end of the struggle against Japanese interventionists. On two sides there are bronze compositions depicting the overthrow of monarchy and victory over the interveners. The monument also bears an inscription dedicated to the fighters for Soviet power from 1917 to 1922.

Mines Garrison Park

Minmin City Park is located in Vladivostok, between Lugovaya Street and Admiral Kuznetsova Avenue, on an area of 39 hectares. It was opened to celebrate the city's 125th anniversary and occupies the site of former mine-artillery establishment with preserved underground arsenal rooms. One can see unique ammunition storage facilities from previous years equipped with autonomous water supply, telephony and ventilation systems. The park is easily accessible on foot for residents of nearby districts.

Victory Park

Victory Park in Vladivostok became a memorial area after its name was approved in 2010. Regular solemn events are held here, including celebrations of Victory Day. In 2015, the park was reconstructed: the area near the T-34 tank was updated, a parade alley with lamps and flower beds was laid out.

Sergey Lazo Cultural Park and Recreation Area

Sergey Lazo Cultural Park and Recreation Area in Vladivostok opened in June 1941, but its development was halted due to war. After mid-50s reconstruction, beaches and solariums were added, along with improved alleys, sports and dance areas. A distinctive feature of the park is its proximity to Sanaptornaya Station, which provides a mild climate and easy access to the sea.

Submarine S-56

Submarine S-56 located on the Shipbuilding Embankment in Vladivostok is a branch of the Military-Historical Museum of the Pacific Fleet. The submarine is famous for its combat exploits: during half a year of active operations it made eight voyages, conducted twelve torpedo attacks and sank or disabled 14 enemy ships. Today visitors can inspect its interior compartments including the torpedo compartment and periscope. Every day at noon from the embankment there is a cannon shot.

Pokrovsky Park in Vladivostok is located at Okhtinsky Avenue, 44. Here historical churches are recreated: Pokrovsky Cathedral founded in 1900 and Seraphim of Sarov chapel. Under the park there are graves of the first city residents. The park is popular among families with children, elderly people and lovers due to a large number of old trees and calm atmosphere. Previously it was central park with dance floor, earlier on its territory there was city cemetery.

Vladivostok State Picture Gallery

The Primorsky State Picture Gallery is located in Vladivostok at Aleutskaya Street, 12. Opened in 1966, it is the sole state art museum of the Primorsky Region. It features works of Russian, Soviet, Western European and Eastern painting and sculpture from the 16th to the 21st century. Since 2016, a "Heritage - Vladivostok" satellite center has been operating within the gallery. In 2021, the "Dalart" Museum Fund was established, becoming the first of its kind on the Far East.

Mariinsky Theatre Maritime Stage

The Marinsky Theatre's seaside scene is located in Vladivostok at Fastovskaya Street, 20. It is a modern building with a panoramic glass facade built on hills with an excellent view of the Sea of Japan. The theater's large hall can accommodate up to 1365 people and is a branch of the famous St. Pyotrsburg Mariinsky Theater under Valery Gergiev's direction. An international festival "Mariinsky" takes place here annually. Construction was specifically for the APEC summit in 2012.

Moscow Academic Drama Theatre named after M. Gorky

Vladivostok's Primorsky Academic Regional Drama Theatre named after M. Gorky is located in the historical center of Vladivostok at ulitsa Svetlanskaya, 49. This building is a regional architectural monument and one of the oldest theaters in the Far East. The theater bears the name of the famous Russian writer Maxim Gorky and is known for its academic status and diverse repertoire.

Vladivostok Youth Regional Drama Theatre

The Primorsky Regional Drama Theatre for Youth is located in Vladivostok at ulitsa Svetlanskaya, 15a. They present various performances: classical plays, immersive shows and tragicomedies. The theater actively tours abroad, performing in Japan, the USA, France and China. There is also an inclusive studio "Special People" within the theater, intended for children with special needs. The theater's repertoire includes productions suitable for a wide audience, including children.

Russian Bridge in Vladivostok - suspension bridge built from 2008 to 2012 ahead of APEC summit. Height reaches 324 meters, main span length is 1104 meters. The bridge connects Namizda Peninsula with Russky Island across Eastern Bosporus Strait. It is depicted on Russian banknote worth 2000 rubles issued in 2017.

St. Nikolay Cathedral

St. Nikolay Cathedral in Vladivostok is located at Mahalina Street, 30. The architectural monument was built before the revolution in honor of sailors who died in the Russo-Japanese war. The temple consists of two altars decorated with icons and an elegant altar. It retains a unique pre-revolutionary atmosphere despite attempts to destroy it in the 1930s. The cathedral has a Sunday school and a православной gimnazia, as well as catacombs containing relics of saints Andrew's Apostle and Saint Nikolay the Wonderworker. This is the only church in the city that has been preserved in its original form until our time.

Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Vladivostok is located at Okhtinsky Avenue, 44. The church was founded in 1900 and consecrated in 1902, but later destroyed and rebuilt after the collapse of the USSR. Originally, there was the first Vladivostok cemetery on that site, which was later transformed into a park. In 1923, the church passed to the "обновленцы" after the closure of the cemetery. Today, the cathedral is an important sightseeing spot in the center of Vladivostok.

Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral

The Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral in Vladivostok is located on Светланская Street. Construction began in the XXI century under the guidance of architects A. Kotlyarov and V. Chirtick. The cathedral was blessed by Patriarch Alexius II in 2000 and officially opened in August 2023. It is the largest church in Primorye with a height of 67 meters and an internal area of 846 m², capable of accommodating up to 2000 worshippers simultaneously. Work continues on finishing and creating a museum for the Primorsky Metropolitan Diocese.

Victory Monument "City of Military Glory"

The "City of Military Glory" monument is located in the center of Borovykh Revolutsii Square in Vladivostok. The opening took place on September 2, 2012. Its height is approximately 10 meters; at the top there is a double-headed eagle - the Russian coat of arms. At the corners of the pedestal are pilasters with bronze bas-reliefs. On the front side of the monument there is a bronze text of the president's decree granting Vladivostok the title of city of military glory.

The Church-shrine of Saint Apostle Andrew the First-called is located on the Shipbuilding Embankment in Vladivostok and is part of the embankment memorial complex. Dedicated to the patron saint of sailors and fishermen, it is situated near memorials such as submarine S-56, Nikolay Triumphal Gates, and ship "Red Ensign".

Center for Contemporary Art "Zarya"

"Zarya" Center for Contemporary Art in Vladivostok is located at 100-letiya Prospekt, 155. Established in 2013 on the site of a former factory. It hosts outdoor exhibitions of street art, lectures, interactive performances and film screenings. There is an art residency for artists from various genres and nationalities. The center also has a library, bookstore, souvenir shop and café.
