St. Nikolay Cathedral

St. Nikolay Cathedral in Vladivostok is located at Mahalina Street, 30. The architectural monument was built before the revolution in honor of sailors who died in the Russo-Japanese war. The temple consists of two altars decorated with icons and an elegant altar. It retains a unique pre-revolutionary atmosphere despite attempts to destroy it in the 1930s. The cathedral has a Sunday school and a православной gimnazia, as well as catacombs containing relics of saints Andrew's Apostle and Saint Nikolay the Wonderworker. This is the only church in the city that has been preserved in its original form until our time.
