Vladivostok Fortress Military Historical Fortification Museum

The Military-Historical Fortification Museum "Vladivostok Fortress" is situated on Batteries Street in Vladivostok. It is the largest sea fort of the late 19th to early 20th century, a cultural heritage site of Russia. Visitors can see forts, batteries, casemates and underground structures that played an important role in the history of Vladivostok since its establishment in 1860. Particularly notable is Artillery Battery Voroshilova listed in Guinness World Records. The museum is open to visitors who can learn about the fort's history through exploring casemented rooms, powder magazines and observation points.
