Vladivostok Funicular

Vladivostok cable car connects upper and lower stations located on Orlyanka hill. Cars depart simultaneously from both sides and separate in the middle of the route. The upper station is one of the most picturesque viewing points in Vladivostok. The construction dates back to 1962 when Nikita Khrushchev, after visiting the USA, decided to make Vladivostok resemble "Soviet San Francisco."
