War Hero City Monument

Monument "City of Military Glory" rises on Borotsev Revolyutsii Square in Vladivostok. Opening took place on September 2, 2012. The structure's height is approximately 10 meters; its top features a double-headed eagle — Russia's coat of arms. At each corner of the pedestal there are pylons with bronze bas-reliefs. On the front side of the monument a bronze cartouche with the president's decree is affixed, while on the reverse side there's a coat of arms of Vladivostok. A solemn opening ceremony was held near the monument to fighters for power of Soviets.
