Matroska Square

Matroskiy Sqare in Vladivostok is situated along Svetlanskaya Street. A wall connecting the square to Tsarevich Embankment was removed here. Monuments to sailors are installed: crew of schooner "Kreyserok" and caterniks who died during World War II. There are also buildings of Matroskiy Club and Marine Assembly. The square has been improved according to the project by company Concrete Jungle, developed taking into account residents' wishes. Previously, this place was Gaidamak Ravine where matroso village was located.
