Mariinsky Theatre Maritime Stage

The Marinsky Theatre's seaside scene is located in Vladivostok at Fastovskaya Street, 20. It is a modern building with a panoramic glass facade built on hills with an excellent view of the Sea of Japan. The theater's large hall can accommodate up to 1365 people and is a branch of the famous St. Pyotrsburg Mariinsky Theater under Valery Gergiev's direction. An international festival "Mariinsky" takes place here annually. Construction was specifically for the APEC summit in 2012.
