Navy Wharf Embankment

Korepelnaya Embankment is situated in the very heart of Vladivostok and is one of the oldest recreation zones of the city. It was here where the history of Vladivostok began in summer 1860 when a military port was founded. The length of the coastal part amounts to about 900 meters. On the embankment there are submarine museum S-56, ship-museum "Red Pennant", chapel of Andrew the First-called and Nikolsky Triumphal Gates. Also, a monument created by architect B. Bogomolov for the anniversary of Vladivostok is installed here. The author's team of the monument includes sculptor V. Nenazhvin and architect A. Sanduk.
