Submarine S-56

Submarine S-56 located on the Shipbuilding Embankment in Vladivostok is a branch of the Military-Historical Museum of the Pacific Fleet. The submarine is famous for its combat exploits: during half a year of active operations it made eight voyages, conducted twelve torpedo attacks and sank or disabled 14 enemy ships. Today visitors can inspect its interior compartments including the torpedo compartment and periscope. Every day at noon from the embankment there is a cannon shot.
