Submarine S-56

Submarine S-56, installed on the Shipbuilding Embankment in Vladivostok, is a branch of the Military-Historical Museum of the Pacific Fleet. The submarine is known for its eight combat patrols and twelve torpedo attacks during which 14 enemy ships were sunk or disabled. Visitors can inspect the torpedo compartment and use the periscope. Every day at noon from the embankment there is a cannon salute. S-56 became a museum ship in 1975 after completing its service.
