Red Fort Clock Tower

In Krasnoyarsk, on Dubrovinskogo Street, there is a clock tower known as "Krasnoyarsky Big Ben". Its exterior completely replicates the famous London Big Ben, creating a European atmosphere amidst Siberian nature. The tower is adorned with four faces measuring 6.5 meters in diameter, each weighing 1.5 tons. Construction was completed in September 2001, and it is now one of the city's most recognizable landmarks. Every half-hour, chimes can be heard from the bells.

Blagoveshchensky female monastery is located in Krasnoyarsk on Lenin Street, 15. It was founded in 1995 as the first women's convent in Krasnoyarsk eparchy after a long break. The temple, now known as Blagoveshchenskaya church, was built from 1804 and completed in the 1820s by masters from Yeniseisk under the supervision of Irkutsk architect Ivan Prohorov. In 1819 General-governor of Siberia M.M. Speransky visited it. The image of Saint Prince Alexander Nevsky, given by Emperor Alexander I in 1820, is still kept here. After severe damage during the Soviet period, the building was restored in the XXI century.

Kommunalny Bridge in Krasnoyarsk is an automobile and pedestrian reinforced concrete arch structure across the Yenisei River. Its length is 2300 meters, width between railings is 24.1 meters, height is 27 meters. The bridge has two parts separated by a dam through an island. It was opened on November 15, 1961 after construction began in 1956. Kommunalny Bridge is also listed in UNESCO's World Bridges international directory. Additionally, it is depicted on the front side of the Russian ten-ruble banknote.

The Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre named after D.A. Khvorostovsky is located at Perensona Street, 2 in Krasnoyarsk. Founded on the basis of amateur theatrical groups of the late 19th century, it has become a popular cultural center in the region thanks to famous opera singer Dmitry Khvorostovsky, who performed here as a soloist. The theater is known for its performances of classical operas and ballets by composers such as Verdi, Tchaikovsky, Donizetti, Rimsky-Korsakov. Its calling card is the opera "Knyaz Igor" by Borodin. The Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum of Local Lore was founded in 1889 by I.A. and Yu.P. Matveev. The collection includes a unique complete mammoth skeleton and the only stegosaurus skeleton in Russia. Among the exhibits are rare artifacts, including epistolary heritage of the Decembrists, personal belongings of artists V.I. Surikov and V.P. Astafyev, as well as souvenirs of singer D.A. Khvorostovsky. One can see autographs of historical figures such as Grigory Rasputin and Napoleon. The museum's exhibition area exceeds 4,000 sq.m., while its collections contain over 700,000 items, making it the largest one beyond the Urals.

V.I. Surikov Museum-residence is located in the historical center of Krasnoyarsk at Lenin Street, 98. It was opened on June 5, 1948 to commemorate the centenary of famous artist Vasily Ivanovich Surikov's birth. The house where the museum is situated is a two-story wooden building built in the 1830s from larch wood. The first floor reproduces the authentic living environment of the Surikov family, including furniture, dishes and clothing. The exhibition includes early works by the master, among which stands out an aquatic study "Rafts on the Yenisei". Of particular value is the largest collection of genuine Surikov works after Moscow museums—there are 92 paintings stored here.

The "Krasnoyarskie Stolby" National Park is located near Krasnoyarsk on the right bank of the Yenisei River. This place is considered the cradle of stolyarism—free rock climbing. The Museum Steamship "Bishop Nikolay" is located on the Yenisei Riverbank in Krasnoyarsk. Built in 1886 in Tyumen, it is a historical monument of river navigation on the Yenisei. An exhibition dedicated to famous passengers, including Tsarevich Nikolay II who arrived here in 1891, is presented. Visitors can inspect cabins, engine room, cargo compartments and bridge. Since 1970, the ship has been serving as an affiliate of the local history museum after being rescued from the ship graveyard.

The Покровский cathedral in Krasnoyarsk is located at Surikov Street, 26. It is the oldest stone building of the city, founded in 1785 and built in the style of Siberian baroque. The church was rebuilt three times from wood before its stone embodiment. It has been closed several times, used as a workshop and exhibition hall, but it again became an active Orthodox cathedral. Inside the cathedral there is unique fresco painting from the late XVIII to early XIX century, and it is the center of the Krasnoyarsk metropolitan see of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Paraskevy Pyatnitsy's Chapel in Krasnoyarsk - a brick octagonal tower in an ancient Russian style located on Karaulnaya Hill. A federal cultural heritage site, its height is 15 meters with a base diameter of 7 meters. Artist V.I. Surikov worked here and the chapel's image appears on a 10-ruble note. Scientist A.S. Popov observed a solar eclipse from this spot in 1887. From the hilltop, one can see the central part of the city; previously, there was an old watchtower. The place is also associated with an ancient pagan shrine of the Tatar-Kachin people.
Eco-park "Greychaya Griva"

"Eco-park Greychaya Griva" in Krasnoyarsk is located on the territory of an ancient extinct volcano. The first phase covering 300 hectares was opened in autumn 2018. For visitors there are five kilometers of sports trails for running, cycling and skiing, as well as eleven diverse children's play areas. Visitors can visit the Krasnoyarsk Biathlon Academy where the Universiade-2019 took place, and an open-air geological museum with Siberian minerals. From viewing points in the park there is a picturesque panorama of the Yenisei River and the "Stolby" nature reserve.
