Красноярск, ул. Степана Разина, 51 (Караульная гора)
Paraskevy Pyatnitsy's Chapel in Krasnoyarsk - a brick octagonal tower in an ancient Russian style located on Karaulnaya Hill. A federal cultural heritage site, its height is 15 meters with a base diameter of 7 meters. Artist V.I. Surikov worked here and the chapel's image appears on a 10-ruble note. Scientist A.S. Popov observed a solar eclipse from this spot in 1887. From the hilltop, one can see the central part of the city; previously, there was an old watchtower. The place is also associated with an ancient pagan shrine of the Tatar-Kachin people.
