Geos Central Siberia Geology Museum

The Geology Museum of Central Siberia GEOS is situated in Krasnoyarsk on Partizana Zheleznyaka Street, 13. Founded in 1943. The permanent exhibition includes over 5,000 exhibits while collections count more than 35,000 items. The first floor focuses on the history of regional geological research, gemmology and mineralogy. There is also an exhibit showcasing paintings by geologists. Special thematic exhibitions and educational events attract both experts and general public. The museum closely collaborates with scientific institutions and geological services.
