Revolution Square

Revolution Square in Krasnoyarsk - the city's main parade square, situated in its center. Previously known as Novosobornaya and Novobazarnaya, it was renamed to commemorate the October Revolution in 1921. In 2018, it underwent a major reconstruction. A monument to Vladimir Lenin has been installed here, while historically significant building is the House of Government, completed in 1956 after modifications to the original design. The overall plan for the square was devised by architect William Guest in 1828.
