Theater Square

Theater Square is located in the Central District of Krasnoyarsk and is part of the architectural ensemble including the hotel "Krasnoyarsk", opera and ballet theater, and an open urban space. The history of the square began in 1878 when the first wooden theater was built there. On October 14-15, 1898 it burned down, later the theater was moved to Mira Avenue. Modern formation of the square is associated with the construction of the Communal Bridge over the Yenisey.
