Red Square

Red Square in Krasnoyarsk used to be called Platz-paradny. A 27-meter monument-statue "Spear Impaled Into Earth" commemorating the end of wars has been installed here. In a brotherly grave on January 1920, 75 people who died fighting against Kolchak's army were buried. The memorial features a pioneer guard post #1 and the city's first Eternal Flame. In 2009, the statue was restored and renamed as "Monument to Revolutionaries".
