Surikov Mansion Museum

The Surikov Museum-Residence is located in the historical center of Krasnoyarsk at Lenin Street, 98. The house built in the 1830s from larch wood is the genuine childhood and youth home of artist Vasily Ivanovich Surikov. The first floor exhibition recreates the family's lifestyle with original furniture, dishes and clothing. The museum collection includes the third largest collection of authentic Surikov works - 92 paintings, including the earliest watercolor "Enisei River Boats" from 1862 and the famous painting "Taking the Snow Fortress".
