10-Ruble Note Monument

In Krasnoyarsk, on the banks of the Yenisei River, there is a monument to the 10-ruble note. The sculpture was created by local artist Alexander Tkachuk under the initiative of Sberbank. The opening took place on June 16, 2011. It depicts a bronze banknote measuring approximately 1.10x2.40 meters, weighing over one ton. The monument recalls the replacement of paper ten-ruble notes with coins and is dedicated to the Bank of Russia note from 1997.
