Blagoveshchensky Convent (Church of The Annunciation)

Blagoveshchensky Women's Monastery is located in Krasnoyarsk on Lenin Street, 15. It is an architectural monument built between 1804 and 1823. The temple of the lower warm Blagoveshchensky altar was completed already in 1808. The monastery became the first female convent of the region after the restoration of the Krasnoyarsk diocese in 1990. Construction began with the laying of the stone church on November 3, 1804, while preparation of building materials had been underway since 1802.
