Nikolay Resanov Monument

Memorial complex on Mira Square in Krasnoyarsk is dedicated to diplomat Nikolay Pyotrovich Rezanov. Architect of the project was Andrey Kasatkin. The complex includes bronze statue of Rezanov, globe fountain and cenotaph made from granite. Monument was opened on June 9th, 2007, coinciding with Krasnoyarsk City Day. Rezanov passed away here in 1807 during his journey from America to St. Pyotrsburg.
