Anapa Lighthouse

Anapa Lighthouse stands on Krepostnaya Street in Anapa and is a symbol of the city. The first lighthouse was built in 1909 after construction began in 1898. In 1955, the current brick octagon 21 meters high was constructed. After the war, the lighthouse was destroyed by Germans but restored. Its light can be seen for 30 kilometers. The lighthouse is painted in white and black stripes and rises 43 meters above sea level.
Heraclea Paphlagonica Archaeological Reserve

Archaeological reserve-museum "Gorgippia" is located in Anapa at Naberezhnaya Street, 4. Its preserved area covers 1.6 hectares with about 0.7 hectare open for visiting featuring residential quarters, paved streets, wells, drains and open-air wine-making complexes. The highlight is a painted tomb discovered in 1975. Exhibits are displayed in historical buildings from early 20th century. Ancient city Gorgippia founded in the 4th century BC was destroyed by fire around AD 238. There is also a monument to poetess Elizabeth Kuzmina-Karavaeva installed here.
Anapa Regional Museum

Anapa Regional Museum is located on Protopopova Street in the historical center of the city near Anapa Lighthouse. The main exhibition is called "Anapa - City of Military Glory" and tells about the deeds of Russian and Soviet soldiers in wars from the 18th to the 20th centuries. There is also a collection of ancient coins, weapons, clothing and unique historical artifacts. The museum introduces visitors to the nature and history of the region from ancient times to the present day, including a memorial hall dedicated to poetess Elizabeth Kuzmina-Karavaeva. The building of the museum is decorated with an architectural ensemble reflecting the spirit of historical Anapa region.
Open-Air Military Equipment Museum

Open-air museum of military equipment in Anapa is located on Simferopol's Highway near green plantations. It features various samples of Soviet and Russian military equipment: BTR-70 armored personnel carrier, Su-27 fighter jet, anti-aircraft ships, Mi-8 and Ka-27 helicopters, T-34, T-80 tanks and amphibious tank PT-76. There is also a well-maintained walking area and restored memorial to pilot Borodzin on the museum grounds.

In Anapa, on Gorky Street, there is a monument called "White Hat". This marble hat with a diameter of about 1.5 meters and weighing over 300 kilograms rests on a pyramidal stone boulder. The inscription "The very white hat" is engraved directly on the stone. The monument is located in the Victory Park 30th anniversary, decorating the central seaside alley near the building of the city administration.

The monument "Beginning of the Caucasus Mountains" is located along the Anapa - Sukko road near the Semisamsky Ridge. It is an eagle sculpture-shaped pylon installed on June 12, 2013 to celebrate Russia Day. It marks the beginning of the Greater Caucasian Range, one of Europe's younger mountain masses. Open 24/7 and free to visit.

Victory Day Park in Anapa is a picturesque place with rich history and culture. The central monuments are the Pilgrimage Cross and grief stone in memory of Cossacks fallen defending the city. Under the ancient juniper trees there are alleys with attractions: Ferris wheel, roller coasters, carousels and other entertainments. Historical landmarks include Russian Gates, "White Hat" monument and bronze statue of atamans A.D. Besskrovny. Visitors can find plaques with names of famous film and cultural figures on the Honour Alley.

RussianGates

"Russian Gates" is a historical site in Anapa named in 1854 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the city's liberation from the Turks. These gates were part of a fortress built by order of Sultan Abdul-Hamid in 1783. Today they are one of the entrances to the Victory Day Park and the sole surviving fragment of Ottoman Anapa. Nearby stands a monument to atamans A.D. Besskrovny, who participated in the fortress siege. After restoration in 1995-1996, two cannons were installed here as reminders of Russia's military might.
Light-Music Fountains at Square of Soviets

The light and music fountains on Sovetskaya Square in Anapa are a central element of the square's architectural ensemble. The main fountain has a diameter of 23 meters; around it are four smaller fountains with diameters of 6 meters each. In the evenings, colorful shows featuring live music and lighting from 320 projectors take place here. The complex includes 300 geysers evenly distributed along the central alleyway. It was opened in 2014 and became an important part of the city's infrastructure near Park of Victory Day.
Battle Glory Square

Battle Glory Square in Anapa is located on Tiraspolsky Lane. Here, the memory of heroes from two world wars, victims of political repressions and participants of local conflicts such as the Afghan war and Chechen battles are immortalized. The central place is occupied by the Alley of Glory with names of local Heroes of the Soviet Union and Russia, granite steles and a братская grave with an eternal flame. The monumental composition is complemented by sculptural images of soldiers.
Gudovich Square

Gudovich Square is located between Anapa's center and its famous lighthouse on Krepostnaya Street. It is a popular place for tourists and locals due to its proximity to the "Gorghippia" museum and the promenade with cafes. Named in honor of General Ivan Gudovich who led the storming of Anapa fortress in 1791. In hot weather, it is pleasant to stroll in the shade of trees along picturesque alleys.
War Hero City Monument

The "City of Military Glory" Monument in Anapa was opened in 2013. It is located at the intersection of Lenin Street and Fortress Street and commemorates Anapa's awarding of the honorable title "City of Military Glory" in 2011. The monument's height is 14.5 meters. On the stele are depicted key historical moments related to wars and events that influenced the fate of the city, including the period when Turkish fortress Anapa joined Russia and episodes from World War II. The installation site was chosen where previously there was a moat from the Russo-Turkish Wars.
Theater Square

Theater Square in Anapa after renovation became one of the most cozy areas of the city. A new thematic paving with ornaments and point lighting was installed, bronze sculptures of ancient Bosporan cities Gorgippia, Panticapaeum and Tauric Chersonese were set up. After reconstruction, three fountains, amphitheater and patio беседки appeared. The square won a prize at the all-Russian competition for creating comfortable urban environment.

The Triumphal Arch in Anapa, located on Krepostnaya Street, was built in 2020. Its facade is decorated with bas-reliefs of prominent Russian naval commanders and portraits of military ships. The arch commemorates the feats of Russian troops in three wars against Turkey (1787-1791, 1806-1812, 1828-1829) and is situated near the "Rodina" Culture Center on Theatre Square.
St. Onufry's Cathedral

St. Onufry the Great Cathedral in Anapa is located at Sobornaya Street, 7. This place has a rich history: the first wooden cathedral was built by decree of Emperor Nikolay I in 1837, but it was completely destroyed during the Crimean War in 1855. The current stone building was rebuilt thanks to public donations and consecrated on June 12, 1874. Services resumed again on December 1, 1991 after a long break. The interior of the cathedral impresses with green walls decorated with white trim, golden icons, and a majestic multi-tiered chandelier. Every year on June 25 they celebrate the feast day in honor of St. Onufry.

Seraphim Sarovsky Temple in Anapa is located at Mayakovsky Street, 111V. The first service took place in January 2014. The building follows traditional Russian architecture with a single-domed form, golden dome and white walls. Inside there is an icon of Saint Seraphim Sarovsky with fragments of his relics as well as fragments of Admiral Feodor Ushakov's relics. The temple has Sunday school, Kirill and Mephodii Library and Charitable House of Mercy. The history of the parish began in 1964 with a prayer house on Grebennaya Street.

Central Embankment of Anapa — the main promenade of the city. The upper level is decorated with granite finish, fountains, sculptures and original lanterns. The lower level runs along the sea, nearby are cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops. Here begins the way to Anapa Lighthouse and there is famous fountain "Pearl of Anapa". On both sides are flower beds, and at the end of the embankment stands a monument to ship "Red Sails". Nearby are the museum "Gorgippia", city beach and Victory Park 30th Anniversary.

The Church-Shrine of the Icon of Our Lady "Holding" is located in Anapa at Lenin Street, 176. It was built from 2008 to 2010 and is part of the future Saint Equal-to-the-Apostles Vladimir temple complex. This one-domed church held its first service on July 27, 2010. The complex began construction in 1998 with the laying of the first stone and cross. In the future, a large temple for up to 500 people is planned here.

Hoshea Prophet Shrine in Anapa is located at the intersection of Crimea Street and Cathedral Street. This small but elegant structure replaced an old church destroyed during Soviet times. Despite its modest size, the shrine retains the beauty and architectural features of its predecessor that stood here previously. The site chosen for rebuilding the temple has changed over the decades, making it impossible to restore the church.
