Alexander S. Pushkin Monument

In Anapa, at the intersection of Pushkin Street and Chornomorskaya, there stands a monument to the great Russian poet Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin. A bronze bust depicts his journey to Taman during his southern exile in 1820. Pushkin mentioned Anapa in his poem "Tasit." The monument was unveiled to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the poet's birth in 1999.
