A.D. Bezkrovny Monument
Anapa, park 30th Victory Anniversary, at Russian Gates
The monument to atamans Alexei Danilovich Bezkrivny installed in the Victory Park 30th Anniversary, near the Russian Gates in Anapa. Created in 1999 by architect Yuri Rysin. The sculpture depicts Bezkrivny in traditional Cossack attire: cherkesska, epaulettes and kalpak. The image is ataman-like, generic since no surviving portraits exist. Alexei Danilovich Bezkrivny, participant in the Battle of Borodino, served in military forces from 1800.
