Gudovich Square

Gudovich Square is located in the historical part of Anapa, between its center and the lighthouse, on Krepostnaya Street. Named after Russian military commander Ivan Gudovich who took Turkish fortress Anapa in 1791. His bust by honored Russian artist Alexander Apollonov is installed here. The area of 4.2775 hectares has been specially protected natural zone since 2017. Nearby the bust there used to be an 18th century fortress wall.
