Monument "Start of the Caucasus Mountains"

The monument "Beginning of the Caucasus Mountains" is located along the Anapa - Sukko road near the Semisamsky Ridge. It is an eagle sculpture-shaped pylon installed on June 12, 2013 to celebrate Russia Day. It marks the beginning of the Greater Caucasian Range, one of Europe's younger mountain masses.
