Gorgippia Archaeological Reserve and Museum

Archaeological Museum-Reserve "Gorgippia" is located in Anapa on Naberezhnaya Street, 4. This site is situated within the territory of ancient city Gorgippia which was part of the Bosporan Kingdom. Visitors can see elements of ancient drainage systems and old wells here. In 1975, an elaborately painted tomb was discovered, becoming a sensational find. Guests participate in interactive programs about archaeologists' and restorers' work. The exhibition occupies an area of 0.7 hectares out of the total reserve area of 1.6 hectares.
