Memorial to Paratroopers at Sea Port

Memorial to paratroopers is situated in Anapa's park near the sea port. On three marble slabs 102 names of Soviet paratroopers who died in battles for liberation of Anapa are immortalized. Architect Sergey Romakhin and artist Aleksey Karpov were project authors. Honored citizen of Anapa Hegam Poladyants initiated its creation. It was opened on September 21, 2006, marking the 63rd anniversary of city's liberation.
