Afghan War Memorial

Memorial monument to the afghan war veteran installed in Anapa, in Battle Glory Square. Opened on February 15, 1992. Author of the project - architect Yu.V. Ryssin, sculptor V.P. Polyakov. Composition depicts an exhausted soldier sitting on a stone. Monument dedicated to fallen heroes of Afghanistan and consecrated on its opening day, coinciding with a memorable date for russians who died far from their homeland.
