V. N. Avanesov Statue

On Central Embankment of Anapa there stands a bust of Vladimir Nikolaevich Avanesov, a well-known curator and candidate of medical sciences, honored as an honorary citizen of the city. The sculpture by V.I. Polyakov was unveiled in 2008 to commemorate Avanesov's contributions to the region's healthcare.
