War Hero City Monument
Anapa, intersection of Lenin St and Krepostnaya St
The Stele "City of Military Glory" is situated in Anapa at the intersection of Lenin Street and Krepostnaya Street. It is a monument featuring a granite column with Doric order topped by the State Coat of Arms of Russia. The opening took place on May 8, 2013. The stele depicts significant historical moments such as the annexation of Turkish fortress Anapa to Russia and events of World War II. During the solemn ceremony, the Victory Flag was present.
