Amur Cliff

Amur Cliff is the main viewing platform of Khabarovsk located at Shevchenko Street, 15. From the top there is a panoramic view of the Amur River. On the cliff there is a monument to General Governor Muravyov-Aмурsky and nearby is the museum complex "Amur Cliff". There is also Nevельской Avenue here. It is one of the city's main symbols and an image of Amur Cliff can be seen on the Russian 5000 ruble banknote.
Military-Historical Museum of the Far Eastern Military District

The Military-Historical Museum of the Far Eastern Military District is located in a historical building on Shevchenko Street in Khabarovsk. The museum has 13 halls covering an area of 3,013 sq. m, showcasing over 20,000 exhibits telling about the heroic history of Amur sailors and military events of the Far East. In the museum's courtyard there is an observation deck with combat vehicles.
Grado-Habarovsk Cathedral of the Dormition of the Theotokos

The Grado-Khabarovsk Cathedral of the Dormition of the Theotokos is located on the Cathedral Square in Khabarovsk. It was first consecrated in December 1886 and later destroyed. Between 2000 and 2002, a new church 54 meters high with seven golden domes was built on its historical site. The consecration took place on October 19, 2002. Previously, there was a chapel dedicated to St. Nikolay the Wonderworker, built in 1891, and the first Governor-General of Primorye, Baron A.N. Korf, was buried here. The cathedral's design was created by architect Yu.V. Podlesnyy.
Far Eastern Art Museum

The Far Eastern Art Museum is located in the historical building of the former Officers' Assembly, built in 1884. Founded in 1931, it is the largest art museum in the Far East with a collection of over 16,000 originals. It features works from Russian and Western European schools of painting, including Italian, German, Dutch, Flemish and French paintings. Visitors can view works by famous Russian artists such as Aivazovsky, Shishkin, Repin, Surikov, Levitan, and participate in thematic tours of the museum's collection.

Komsomolskaya Square in Khabarovsk is one of the oldest city squares. Previously it was known as Sobornaya and Krasnaya Squares, and in the 1930s there stood the Uspensky Cathedral, which was subsequently demolished. A.P. Okladnikov Archaeology Museum is located in the historical building of Khabarovsk at Turgeneva Street, 86. Founded in 1998, it is a branch of N.I. Grodekov Regional Museum and a unique museum of the Far East entirely dedicated to archaeological findings from Amur Region. The exhibition includes medieval settlements of the region, petroglyphs of Sikachi-Alin and Sheremetyevskiy inscriptions, as well as a collection of over 160,000 archaeological artifacts. Interactive master classes are organized for visitors, especially appealing to young researchers.

The Amur Bridge History Museum is located in Khabarovsk on Tihookeanskaya Street. The museum's exhibition focuses on the construction and reconstruction of the famous bridge over the Amur River. Visitors can see an open-air old bridge truss and learn about the structure that previously bore the name Tsarevich Alexei Nikolaevich. The Amur Bridge is notable for combining rail and road traffic. Its image adorns a Russian banknote worth 5000 rubles.
Harbin City History Museum

The Museum of the History of Khabarovsk is located at Lenina Street, 85. It was opened in 2004 and occupies the premises of the former cultural house of the "Energy Machine" factory. The permanent exhibition includes sections on the beginning of the city (1858-1880), the history of local self-government, regional industrialization and World War II. There is also a collection of archaeological finds discovered during excavations on the territory of Khabarovsk. The museum operates daily from 10:00 to 18:00, except on Mondays.
Амур Fish Museum Aquarium

Aquarium Museum "Amur Fish" in Khabarovsk is located on Amur Boulevard. It was opened on December 2, 2005 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of HTINRO. More than 90 species of fish from the Amur River basin are collected here, including Amur crabs, shrimp and water turtles. Visitors can see aquariums ranging from 80 to 900 liters with stones at the bottom. The starry sole attracts special attention as it swims upstream. Children from orphanages and preschool institutions visit the museum for free. About 10-20 thousand people visit it annually.

Admiral G.I. Nevelskoy Embankment in Khabarovsk extends over more than 900 meters along the Amur River. There are monuments to prominent individuals: writer Nikolay Zadornov and Admiral Gennady Nevelsky, whose name the embankment bears. From here began the exploration of Priamurie. Along the entire length of the embankment there is a parapet and paving slabs. The central object is the museum complex "Amur Cliff". In summer, here city festivals are held, attractions operate and excursion routes on a steam train are available.
Harbin Monument

Erofei Pavlovich Khavatov Monument is located on the Pervaya Rechka Square in Khabarovsk and was unveiled on May 29, 1958. Sculptor A.P. Miltsin depicted the famous explorer as a Russian knight with a Cossack hat and armor. This sculpture greets visitors to the city after leaving the railway station. Although there is no exact image of Khavatov, the monument has become a symbol of the exploration of Priamurie in the seventeenth century.

N.N. Muraviev-Aмурsky Monument is located in Khabarovsk on Khabarovsky Utёс at ulitsa Shevchenko, 15/1. It is the largest pre-revolutionary Russia monument, 16 meters high, restored in 1992 after a long break. Originally opened in 1891, it was rebuilt by city residents with funds of 2 million rubles. On the pedestal there are bronze plates with names of participants in the annexation of Priamurie, and the monument is depicted on a banknote worth 5000 rubles since 2006.

Alexander Mikhailovich Vasilevsky's monument stands on Usirийский Boulevard in Khabarovsk. Its height is 9 meters. The marshal is famous for leading the operation that defeated the Kwantung Army in August 1945, which culminated in the signing of the surrender act by Japan. The sculpture was created by Russian artist Sergey Shcherbakov. The monument was installed in a city where the command headquarters was located during World War II.

Heroes Square in Khabarovsk was opened on May 9, 1975. In its center originally stood a wall with relief images of eight highest Soviet orders and a pylon. Later, in 2000, additional pylons with names of over twenty thousand residents of the region who died in battles against Germany and Japan were added. During the reconstruction in 2003, adjacent to it appeared the Spaso-Preobrazhensky cathedral and memorial to Khabarovsk natives fallen in local conflicts.

At the center of the pedestal stands a column with a double-headed eagle, beneath which there is an open Patriotic Education Center with a total area of 473.3 sq. m.
