Victory Square
Хабаровск, площадь Славы
Heroes Square in Khabarovsk was opened on May 9, 1975. In its center originally stood a wall with relief images of eight highest Soviet orders and a pylon. Later, in 2000, additional pylons with names of over twenty thousand residents of the region who died in battles against Germany and Japan were added. During the reconstruction in 2003, adjacent to it appeared the Spaso-Preobrazhensky cathedral and memorial to Khabarovsk natives fallen in local conflicts.
